Improv for Fundraising

In this 2 hour visioning session, Bread and Roses full-time staff were looking to brainstorm new and interesting ways to engage donors and increase their fundraising efforts for the following year.

Through a variety of brainstorming activities, participants were introduced to the idea of “Yes, and” idea generation. By the end of the workshop, the team had created a wide-ranging list of new ideas from which they sorted, ranked and picked the best proposals to pursue.

Workshop Objectives:

  1. Brainstorming – Generate new ideas on how to generate more revenue

  2. Idea Exploration – Learn new techniques to break down and analyze the merits of each idea

  3. Communication – Practice collaboration tools that are useful for future planning sessions
